The Austin Business Journal Ranks Chambers of Commerce
Cedar Park Chamber of Commerce Ranked #5
of Central Texas Chambers of Commerce
August 4, 2022 – The Austin Business Journal (ABJ) recently released its 2022 List of Chambers of Commerce. Central Texas Chambers are ranked by the number of paid members. The Cedar Park Chamber has continued to rank in the top five, and this year we were #5 – behind Austin Chamber, Georgetown Chamber, Round Rock and the Greater Austin Asian Chambers of Commerce.
“This shows the continuous growth of our business community, and that Cedar Park is a great place to do business,” said Tony Moline, President and CEO for the Cedar Park Chamber of Commerce. “We maintained our ‘Top 5 spot’ and I am truly excited about the outlook for our great Chamber of Commerce.”
The 2022 list of Austin-area chambers of commerce is open to chambers in the five-county coverage area that includes Travis, Williamson, Hays, Bastrop and Caldwell Counties. The list is ranked by local membership. Information is gathered from ABJ surveys sent to chamber representatives and verified by IRS 990 filings.
The Austin Chamber of Commerce ranked #1 with 1,856 members and an estimated annual budget of $5.74 million. In comparison, at #5, the Cedar Park Chamber of Commerce reported 779 members.
“The stark contrast of these numbers show that the Cedar Park Chamber works hard and efficiently within its budget and staff size. To be listed with a massive chamber such as the Austin Chamber, is really an honor,” said Moline.
