    The Federal Reserve Wants to Hear from You! The spread of the COVID-19 (Coronavirus) and the many efforts to slow it are impacting communities across the United State. The Fed is committed to supporting people and businesses with every tool they have, but to do so effectively requires a deep understanding of the conditions in communities.  

    The Federal Reserve System is conducting a pulse survey to better understand the range of challenges. It will also help them to understand how this crisis is impacting businesses like yours. Click here to take the survey. 

    Governor Abbott pointed to signs that social distancing is helping slow the rate of new COVID-19 Cases in the State. In a press conference, he and state health officials stated that the number of confirmed cases is doubling every six days, a slower rate than in mid-March when cases were doubling every three days. But it is not yet possible to predict when COVID-19 cases will peak in Texas they added.  



    Williamson County and Cities Health District (WCCHD) announced 10 New Positive COVID-19 Cases in Williamson County on Wednesday, bringing the total in the county to 97. So far, 40 people have recovered in Williamson County, and there have been four deaths due to this virus.  



    The City of Cedar Park will have another Virtual Council Meeting tonight. The Open Meeting will begin at 7:00pm. This meeting will be completely virtual. If you want to participate by speaking, you must CLICK HERE. As always, you can watch the meeting live at CPTV-10. 

    Cedar Park Parks and Recreation Department will be closing all city parks and trails at sunset tonight (April 9th) until sunrise Monday, April 13th. In addition, Williamson County has closed the Brushy Creek Regional Trail, which runs alongside some of Cedar Park’s parks, as well as county parks during the same time period. The gates will be locked and barricaded at Veterans Memorial Park, Elizabeth Milburn Park, Brushy Creek Lake Park and Brushy Creek Sports Park.
