FEDERAL UPDATES FOR BUSINESS
New recommendations from the CDC regarding the use of cloth face coverings, especially in areas of significant community-based transmission. The CDC continues to study the spread and effects of the COVID-19 (Coronavirus) across the United States. Recent studies show a significant portion of asymptomatic individuals and pre-symptomatic individuals can transmit the virus to others before showing symptoms. There have also been indications that the spread can come from people each other including speaking, cough or sneezing near one another. Therefore, the CDC is recommending individuals wear cloth face coverings.
WILLIAMSON COUNTY UPDATES
Williamson County continues to have new confirmed cases each day. Unfortunately, over the weekend, there was another death due to complications of the COVID-19 (Coronavirus) Pandemic. No more details were immediately available on the Williamson County website. This is a reminder that while you may not see many cases or know somebody who has contracted it, we are still a while away from Williamson County’s peak in cases.
Be sure to Stay Home and Stay Safe as much as you can!
The Williamson County Commissioners Court will hold a virtual meeting on April 7th beginning at 9:30am. You can watch this meeting live at wilco.org.
