As we navigate the COVID-19 (Coronavirus) Pandemic, the Cedar Park Chamber of Commerce and Williamson County will host Mike Litton, Executive Vice President and Director of SBA Lending for R Bank.

FEDERAL UPDATES FOR BUSINESS
Don’t forget, the IRS has a NEW TAX DUE DATE of July 15th. During the COVID-19 Pandemic, the federal income tax filing deadline has been automatically extended from April 15, 2020 to July 15, 2020. Taxpayers can wait until July 15th to make federal income tax payments without interest or late payment penalties, regardless of the amount owed. The IRS urges taxpayers who are due a refund to file as soon as possible. Filing electronically with direct deposit is the quickest way to get refunds. WILLIAMSON COUNTY UPDATES
Go to www.wilco.org/COVID-19 for the latest information on COVID-19 impacts in Williamson County. When you visit the website, you will get access to a dashboard that details how many cases have been reported in Williamson County, including the number of people ever hospitalized, recovered, and how many have died as a result of the virus.
This information is updated daily at noon. You also can access a list of frequently asked questions, media releases, and any directives that have been implemented since the local disaster declaration was signed on March 14. As of noon yesterday, Williamson County has 55 confirmed cases.
Leander ISD will roll out Phase 2 of Remote Learning Plan which will begin on April 6th. According to the LISD e-mail sent out yesterday, Teaching and Learning, Special Programs, and Technology teams are excited to launch Phase 2 of the remote learning initiative.
Remote Learning Guides for Parent are available. LISD is working to keep school communities connected and thriving as the school buildings remain closed. The Remote Learning Plan is meant to provide on-going and purposeful student learning that strikes a balance between online and offline learning activities. For more information, CLICK HERE.
