The Williamson County and Cities Health District (WCCHD) has received notification of the seventh COVID-19 death in Williamson County. The resident was a female in her 60s. Privacy protection laws only permit the release of limited patient information. The WCCHD is unable to release any additional patient information

"As joyful as I am that we are beginning to open up Williamson County at the end of this week, we are again reminded of the seriousness of this disease. Today, we lost another resident of our Williamson County. My prayers are with her family," said Williamson County Judge Bill Gravell.

Additional COVID-19 information is reported on the dashboard located at www.wcchd.org/COVID-19/dashboard.php. The dashboard is updated just past noon daily. Cases in "Other cities in Williamson County" column are a combined total that include cities with populations below 20,000 and unincorporated Williamson to protect the privacy of residents.

If you have symptoms of respiratory illness including cough, fever and shortness of breath, please contact your health care provider.
