AWARD WINNING TAP DANCER BRENNA KUHN ANNOUNCES GRAND OPENING OF DANCE STUDIO IN CEDAR PARK, TEXAS
AUSTIN, TEXAS (November 28, 2017) –
Award winning tap dancer Brenna Kuhn announced today the Holiday Open House/Grand Opening Celebration of Art Beat Dance Center in Cedar Park, Texas. The Holiday Open House/Grand Opening Celebration is scheduled for Sunday, December 10th, 2017 from 2-5pm. Tours of the new facility, mini-classes, and a special performance by the Austin Tap Ensemble will be presented along with light refreshments. The official ribbon cutting by the Cedar Park Chamber of Commerce will take place on Monday, December 11th, 2017 at 3pm.
Art Beat Dance Center is a locally-owned dance studio focused on creating a community of dancers united by their passion for music and dance through high quality training in a healthy and nurturing environment. Instructors with real world dance experience and knowledge of anatomy and music will serve as role models and guides to students from all walks of life.
Art Beat Dance Center provides creative music and movement classes for young children to begin integrating dance and music at an early age, cultivating a lifelong passion for both art forms in older children and adult students.

In addition to tap, ballet, jazz, hip hop, modern/contemporary, yoga, swing dance, and bucket drumming classes for adults, children, and teens, classes with curricula focused on the unique needs of individuals with Parkinson’s Disease, senior citizens, and those that have survived cancer diagnoses and treatment are available. Art Beat Dance Center has already created community partnerships with: Silverado Memory Care Community in Cedar Park, bringing their Dance for Parkinson’s class to the Silverado community to share dance with the residents; Capital of Texas Team Survivor, sponsoring dance and yoga classes for their members and helping them to live life beyond cancer; and Power for Parkinson’s, the Breast Cancer Resource Center, and Texas Oncology.

, Brenna Kuhn was a principal dancer with Tapestry for 9 years and served as the Executive Director of Tapestry Dance Company. A performer, educator, and choreographer, Ms. Kuhn has been managing dance studios for over 10 years. Diversity describes Ms. Kuhn’s background: she started her dance journey in Detroit and has mentored with Lloyd Storey, Bill Evans, Sarah Petronio, and Acia Gray. She has shared the stage with many tap greats including Dianne Walker, Brenda Bufalino, Donald O’Connor, Leonard Reed, Fayard Nicholas, Arthur Duncan, and Savion Glover.
