    1. Please tell us a bit about how your business got started. What is your mission?
    Hill Country Bible Church (HCBC) held its first services in January of 1986 after a group of 7 families came together to start a church in far NW Austin.  The mission of the church is to Saturate Greater Austin with the Love of Jesus.  Since it’s start, it has grown to a weekend attendance of over 6,800 at four campuses (Lakeline, Brushy Creek, Crystal Falls & Steiner) and has planted over 36 Hill Country Association Churches in the greater Austin area from Gonzales to San Saba and Hutto to Marble Falls. 
    1. How did you become involved in the Cedar Park Chamber of Commerce?
    I became involved in the Cedar Park Chamber by participating in Leadership Cedar Park and have been blessed to serve on the board as Vice Chair for Community Development and Chair-elect, Chair and Past Chair.
    1. How does your business contribute to the community?
    HCBC strives to mobilize it’s family to be the hands and feet of Jesus outside the walls of the church through development of the Christian Resource Center at Twin Lakes where we serve over 20,000 contact points a year with food, clothing, job skills training, counseling, Developed Education Connection Literacy Partner Program to help with reading literacy for all students by the end of their 3rd grade year – impacting over 1200 kids in the RRISD and LISD districts.  Provide 3200 backpacks and school supplies for LISD students on the free and reduced meal plan at the start of each fall.  Provide over 750 room reservations each year for community meetings and many other areas.
    1. What do you feel has been your contribution to your business and the business community in Cedar Park?
    I have been blessed to lead HCBC’s involvement into the community to help support it and it’s many activities.  We sponsor many activities and provide volunteers from Fable Fest for the CP Library Foundation to Cedar Fest support with equipment and materials and hosting the monthly networking lunch.  I have also been blessed to serve on the Chamber Board and the Board’s Executive Committee to help enhance our business community.
    1. How do you feel the Cedar Park Chamber has contributed to your business?
    Being an active part of the chamber has significantly increased our networking, regularly bring community members into our doors and allow us to serve them, their families and their businesses.  It has been a great partnership!
