MISSION STATEMENT
Leadership Cedar Park shall provide interested and qualified individuals the opportunity to develop the skills, insights, and relationships required to be more effective civic leaders ready to actively participate in making Cedar Park a better place to live and conduct business.

PROGRAM SUMMARY
Leadership Cedar Park is an ongoing annual program of the Cedar Park Chamber of Commerce. It provides education and leadership development for a selected group of civic-minded individuals over a nine-month period. Participants attend a two day retreat, followed by eight additional classes on the first Thursday of each month. Team-building, skills training and leadership skills are taught in addition to class topics that cover Government Entities, Planning and Transportation, Economic Development Health and Social Services, Criminal Justice, Education, City Government, and Non Profits.

TUITION
Tuition is set at $500.00. Leadership Cedar Park, however, is committed to the belief that no qualified applicant be excluded based on inability to pay. Scholarships may be available to help defray the expense of the program. A 10% discount for early application is available for those who complete the application process by July 1 of each year. SELECTION CRITERIA
Leadership Cedar Park seeks Individuals committed to the well-being of Cedar Park and interested in assuming greater responsibility for the future leadership of our community. All Leadership Cedar Park applicants must:

• Live or work in the Cedar Park area
• Not be a candidate for public office at the time of application
• Have an interest in seeking key volunteer, public office, board or commission roles
• Possess high standards of personal integrity
• Possess potential leadership ability and a personal commitment to solving community problems
• Be willing and able to commit the time necessary to complete the program
